Okay, I’m going to attempt this challenge again. For those that don’t know what I’m referring to, last week I had challenged myself to work 40 hours within a one-week period. I’m infamous for not working enough, and wanted to see if firstly, I could actually work 40 hours in a week and secondly, how much work would come out as a result. Unfortunately I only managed 21 hours.
Well, I’m attemping this challenge again. I have until April 14th at 11:00 AM pacific time. This time it’s personal though. I don’t like losing and I’m extremely competitive, especially against myself. I think I’ll be able to complete the challenge fairly easily this time around.
Blog Updates
I’ve made another small change to my blog. All posts now show a link to the author of the post, which will be me 99% of the time. However, since I will now occassionally have a guest poster from time to time, this will help to easily differentiate the posts I wrote from the ones guests posters have.
I set it up to display the “username” of the author which means the person can select what name is displayed publicly, and isn’t necessarily their login name or first name. It also links to the URL that they select in their profile. This allows them to link to their personal site or blog, for some free permenant backlinks. I set mine to link to my “About” page here on the blog.

I’m curious why you think that. If it was easy, surely you would work a 40 hour week more often, no?

How do you define work anyways? is reading blogs or forums about internet marketing considered work?

So you’re mad you lost a competition against yourself? Now you’re back to avenge that loss?
well it all depends on you, just pull yourself togheter and work!
I think you need to provide a definition of work. I think you might have a stricter definition of work. When I was employed with a big networking equipment company, I would spend the first two hours of each workday reading the news, surfing the web and drinking coffee. I wouldn’t really begin to work until about 10 am even after arriving at the office at 8 am. This wasn’t just me. Most of my coworkers had variations of this. After lunch was also a timeto take things easy as well. Depending upon your job, this can be pretty ommon for people working at the offices of big business.
