Affiliate Marketing Challenge 4 Results

I’ve once again been so backlogged with work and posts that I actually had to launch the 5th Affiliate Marketing Challenge before I could announce the results and winners of the 4th Affiliate Marketing Challenge.

The fourth competition was another success and as always, a blast to run. As usual, I kept a close eye on the rankings and hope those who entered had as much fun participating as I had running it.

I’d like to thank everyone who participated for entering, and especially thank MarketLeverage for sponsoring these competitions. After all, without them, there would be no contest!

Winners

We give out a lot of great prizes, so I apologize in advance for the long list that follows. Here are the official winners and their prizes:

$50,000-$74,999 VIP Tier

1st Place: CD8470 – $60,559.20

Prize: Olympus E-520 10.0MP DSLR Camera

Congratulations to CD8470, aka "The Behemoth", for taking home the $50K VIP tier prize in back-to-back competitions. As a result, he’ll be receiving an Olympus E-520 10.0MP DSLR Camera for his efforts – this is a $1,000 digital camera folks.

It’s fantastic to watch The Behemoth constantly improve and increase his commissions. The previous contest he just narrowly made it to the $50K VIP tier with $51,757.60, but now he comfortably slid into it with over $60,000.

CD8470 has now won all FOUR CONSECUTIVE Affiliate Marketing Challenge competitions and remains the undefeated champion. He managed to completely dominate the competition with a staggering $60,559.20 which works out to over $1,950 per day.

His prizes from all the competitions now include an Olympus E-520 10.0MP DSLR Camera, Panasonic 60GB HD Drive Camcorder, Dell 22″ Widescreen Monitor, and an 8GB iPod Touch. What will MarketLeverage and I be giving him next? Perhaps a yacht?

Will The Behemoth go 5 for 5 and win my next competition as well? Can anyone even get close to this monster? It’d be nice to see him continue to push himself further and possibly reach the $75,000 VIP tier as that’s one nice big screen TV…

Top Main Category

1st Place: CD8083 – $5,764.60

Prize: Dell 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor

CD8083 easily takes home 1st place of the Main Category, but it’s interesting because he only generated income during the first two weeks and then completely stopped. I asked him what was up and he told me that the offer he was running was starting to exhaust the niche demographic it was in.

In any case, he did well enough to receive an awesome 24-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor on his doorstep soon.

2nd Place: CD9050 – $2,673.00

Prize: Infinity Speaker System

It’s nice to see CD9050 make a return on the leaderboards since the 2nd Affiliate Marketing Challenge in which he took 3rd place. He generated close to $1,000 more than last time and placed one spot higher which is awesome to see. Hopefully he will participate in my 5th Affiliate Marketing Challenge and continue to improve his commissions.

3rd Place: CD10565 – $2,646.00

Prize: 8GB iPod Touch

CD10565, aka "The Magician", aka Paul Piotrowski from InspiredAffiliate.com saw a bit of an upset here. You’ll notice that he was only $27 short ($27.01 exactly) of taking 2nd place.

Fortunately, Paul told me that this actually works out in his favour since he already has a nice speaker system but could do with an iPod Touch, so everything worked out in the end.

I’d like to remind everyone that this was only Paul’s 2nd month of PPC affiliate marketing. Generating close to $3,000 in your 2nd month is fantastic, and it’s an $1,100 increase over what he generated in last month’s competition.

I hope Paul continue to work hard on his campaigns. If he does, he could very well be taking home 1st place in the next competition…

4th Place: CD8137 – $882.00

Prize: Flip Mino Video Camera

CD8137, aka “The Tortoise”, is a regular leaderboard winner. While his commissions don’t seem to grow, they always seem to be enough to win him a great prize each month nonetheless.

He’ll be receiving his lovely Flip Mino soon.

5th Place: CD8346 – $355.80

Prize: Logitech Wireless Mouse & Keyboard

CD8346 is another regular winner on ~~The Price is Right~~ these Affiliate Marketing Challenges. I’m sure he’ll enjoy the pleasures of a tangle-free desktop with his wireless mouse and keyboard.

Top New Signups

1st Place: CD11560 – $251.20

Prize: 8GB iPod Nano

I love tracking the progress of new signups as it’s great to watch them earn their first commissions with PPC affiliate marketing and then get rewarded with an additional prize for their efforts as well.

CD11560 had a great first month and will be receiving his iPod Nano in the mail shortly. I can see that he is already active in the next competition and wish him the best of luck.

2nd Place: CD11453 – $79.00

Prize: $100 Prepaid ML Rewards Card

You’ve got to love this: you generate $79.00 in commissions only to take home a $100 prize. This is exactly why, if you haven’t signed up yet, you should – you don’t need to be able to generate huge numbers in order to win big!

3rd Place: CD11600 – $28.00

Prize: Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse

Likewise, CD11600 joined and generated only $28, but is being rewarded with a wireless Microsoft optical mouse for his efforts – not bad!

In total, there were 6 bloggers who posted about my competition (Sorry, Melvin, bad luck of the draw). That meant that the average submission had a 83% chance of winning an easy $20! Hopefully you’ll consider those odds for my next competition!

Each of the above will be receiving a $20 Prepaid MarketLeverage Rewards Card.

I have e-mailed each of the winners and notified MarketLeverage as well. They will be contacting each of the winners shortly.

I’ve now referred a total of 113 affiliates to MarketLeverage, 15 of which signed up during this past competition.

My personal goal for the competition was for the total commissions to hit $65,000. Fortunately, you guys did it and we actually exceeded it by over $8,000!

To date, my referrals have generated a total of $201,517.80, and I only signed up to MarketLeverage in early June! Since I make 5% of what they generate, I’ve made just over $10,000 in referral income from them in under 6 months.
