Affiliate Marketing Without Spending a Penny
July 29, 2008 Posted by Tyler CruzI’ve received a lot of comments and requests from visitors lately asking how exactly to make money with affiliate networks like MarketLeverage.
Last month, I gave a pretty in-depth tutorial on how PPC Affiliate Marketing worked, so this time I thought I’d make an even simpler video which took PPC completely out of the picture.
After all, nobody ever said you had to use PPC networks such as AdWords and Yahoo Search Marking in order to make money with affiliate networks. It’s just one popular way. The only way an affiliate network differs from a CPC or CPM network such as Bidvertiser or TribalFusion is that they pay on a cost-per-lead or cost-per-sale basis.
Note: The video is catered to beginners. It explains how you can add MarketLeverage offers to your blog to make money.

Sweet. I have been waiting for someone to create a video like this. Everyone else is so afraid of giving away their money making secrets which is funny, cuz well, they run MMO blogs.

When you are ready to get a blog/ site for yourself, make sure you get a proper domain and run it through WordPress to get started.
It would suck if you put in all the effort to get something launched with a free blog setup and then they could shut it down just when you get started to make some serious money.

Incidentally, try using Metacafe next time. The quality is a lot better and you can get paid if you get enough views.

interesting ideas. Affiliate marketing isn’t really that hardbut of course you have to find ways to get traffic.
OiOPublisher does have an affiliate program built in, but you have to buy the software to be part of it. Once installed on your blog there is an affiliate section where you can refer users to.
Great video Tyler! I currently am an affiliate for OIO Publisher and have their banner on my blog… so far no sales… yet.
Great video, Tyler. If I can offer some constructive criticism, and please don’t take offense, but I think it would be really helpful if you had more notes or a clearer picture of what your were going to say before you start recording.
There is something to be said for your conversational, off the cuff style, but I think a rehearsal or two would make it seem much more professional.
I’ve been trying to figure out if you are allowed to e-mail your registered users or would it be required that they opted into a newsletter? Does anyone have an answer?
There are plenty of ways of doing affiliate marketing without spending a penny… this is just the very basic.
But I am a little curious, on my dashboard under users, it doesn’t have my RSS Feed subscriber count and I have a few hundred people subscribed. What’s up with that?

Is there any proof of the payment received from market leverage? I think it is better to join big companies like google and yahoo. Focusing one ad per page would be enough and could earn more conversion rate for people. Affiliate marketing is against the rules of google adsense and definitely this site dont have google adsense so it is acceptable.
