Crazy Sausages

March 18, 2008 Posted by Tyler Cruz

This post is very off-topic, but I was making breakfast the other day and cooking some maple-syrup breakfast-sausages when they started acting absolutely crazy.

Now, I rarely cook sausages so maybe this is a perfectly normal behaviour, but I thought it was absolutely crazy! They were rolling around by themselves, back and forth, up an down, dancing…

Here is a quick video I took of them:

I was afraid to eat them afterwards… I felt I needed to give them an exorcism or something, but I ate them anyway πŸ˜›

  1. Hi Tyler,

Hmmm… last post had the word ingredient in it. This post is about sausages – but not just ordinary sausages, but dancing sausages. I smell conspiracy… or is that breakfast?

…or get a job! You’ve got too much time on your hands recording videos of dancing food. πŸ™‚

    Take care,

    Mo

  2. fumbler says:

I think those are new wave sausages that ensure they are evenly browned on all sides.

  3. pryda says:

You should have put them on eBay.

  4. Possessed Sausages of Doom!!

Are you going to eat those?

  5. Flimjo says:

Pictures of food on your blog! You’re becoming John Chow!

  6. PigsnieLite says:

Waaaah, Americas Best Dance Crew! I love dancing sausages. They remind me of my childhood when I made them do the polka wid the fried herring. πŸ˜€

  7. Wow, yeah my sausages don’t do that. That’s so weird!

  8. jim says:

Haha wow. I know that foods like that (AKA Spam… yum) often “pops” and such when it is being cooked. This could explain the rolling around, maybe, but I wouldn’t expect it to be doing what its doing πŸ˜€

  9. well thats one way of getting an even cooked sausage.

  10. PigsnieLite says:

I just realized — whut person in their right mind would haf cooked just TWO lousy sausages? I would haf cooked 9 just so I would save a little electricity, heh.

  11. Matias says:

Is that you breakfast??, in this part of the world (Argentina) that would be lunch…

  12. Probably it is, although I can’t understand why americans don’t prefer to eat healthy at breakfast. Bacon, sausages, eggs and whatnot are the first step for a fat ass.

  13. Host:

And the award for best sausage video goes to (drum roll) Tyler Cruz dor com

    Tyler’s speach:

Firs of of all I would like to thank God for allowing me to live through this experience and secondly I would like to thank my fans for having voted for my video.

  14. Jason says:

    I’m hungry now πŸ™

PS, not sure if you realized, but grats on the PR3 πŸ™‚

  15. john says:

That food looks good. I would too be afraid. πŸ™‚

  16. Schubsta says:

ItΒ΄s better for you having them roll around. Mine tend to blow up. Too much heat and to much fat in the sausage. Maybe you stove is haunted πŸ™‚

  17. Quwen Qyiz says:

You copyrighted an image of sausages? I’m all for anti-stealing, but someone, somewhere, is watching your blog, waiting for a picture of food so he can steal it and make it his own?

    • Tyler Cruz says:

I have it automated so that it is added automatically… it’s better than not having it. It took me literally half a second to do, it’s not like I spent 30-minutes adding it πŸ™‚

And once CNN tells my heroic story of a man and his sausage, I’ll be thankful I did it, too!

  19. Xacur says:

why there’s a huge link of casino in the feed?
    that don’t appear here.

  20. John D says:

Video is saying its not available anymore for me.

“Bacon, sausages, eggs and whatnot are the first step for a fat ass.”

Its what most people in Ireland eat, called an Irish breakfast πŸ˜‰
Maybe that’s just to soap up our alcohol from the night before though πŸ™‚

  21. David Chew says:

    Is still nice to eat.

  22. Tom Beaton says:

I too got the huge load of casino links when in Google reader but now I have come to the actual site, there are no links (there is no spoon). What is going on? Thought you had been hacked at first.

    • Tyler Cruz says:

I’m not sure what it was, as I didn’t see it, and it appears to be gone now.

The one thing I think it could have been was a Post-Level text link ad from TLA, one that wasn’t screend properly and then later removed… it’s my only guess without being able to see the source code…

  23. Damnit… Now I’m craving some hashbrowns (obsessed with them).

  24. I’m not sure i would have eaten those, you might have been able to sell them on eBay for a Million dollars.

  25. Ranked Hard says:

We make dancing sausages as well here at Ranked Hard.
