Okay, I understand, and thanks for letting me know your thoughts.

What might possibly work is take the best of borth worlds and run a longer competition for perhaps 2 months or 4 months. That way the prizes could literally double or quadruple in prize. The $100,000 tier would have a $24,000 prize within a 4-month span, for example, and the $200,000 tier would have a $58,000 prize… there’s your new car!

I don’t know, I think it’d be more practical to assume bigger affiliates have TVs, laptops, and that sort of thing over luxury cars.

My BMW is getting to be a bit old now (2006) but I’m not about to spring for a new one every couple of years. It’d be nice to have someone spring for this for me in exchange for me sending them big numbers. That way, it wouldn’t feel like I was spending money.

The extending contest sounds like a decent idea, though not sure I’d be able to put that much emphasis on a single affiliate for an entire year.. it might piss off other companies. I’d have to see what I could realistically send to them and if it’d be enough to hit the $1m mark by the end of the year. If not, no point in doing it..
