January 26, 2012 Posted by Tyler CruzAs I have been getting back into affiliate marketing lately, there have been many times when I’ve tried to view the landing page of an offer that is targeted to a particular country, only to see the dreaded "Sorry, but this offer is not available in your country" message.
Viewing the exact landing page of an offer is extremely important, vital really, and so I went searching for a proxy service that would allow me to visit sites as if I was coming from a particular country.
After trying many free ones (let me just say that you get what you pay for) and looking through a few paid ones, I finally found a premium proxy service that did exactly what I wanted, and then some.
GeoSurf is a premium proxy service that allows you to surf the web as if you were coming from another country (it currently offers 63 countries plus 25 major US cities). It does much more than that, but that is the gist of it.
There are many uses for such a service, but for most of you, its best suited for advertising research and analysis.

Mobile, Tablet, & Browser Emulator
In the screencast, I forgot to mention a few things I had planned on talking about.
The first is that in addition to surfing the web and seeing it as if you were in another country, GeoSurf also acts as a smartphone, tablet, and browser emulator.
As can be seen from the screenshot of the GeoSurf toolbar below, you can simply choose what other device you want to emulate viewing from:
You can emulate from over 20 of the most popular browsers and devices such as the iPad, iPhone, Blackberry devices, HTC, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc.
This is a very useful feature, and really easy to use to – simply select the device from the dropdown menu and – voila – you’re viewing the webpage as if you were viewing it from that particular device.
Proxy on a Smartphone or Tablet
GeoSurf is also available to work on a smartphone or tablet, although I believe you need to set up a custom package with them if you want that capability.

I agree, free proxies are shyte. I use it to also check all of my country redirects and country specific banner advertising… well worth it.
This is really expensive, you’re better off using a VPN like witopia, expressvpn or hidemyass vpn. They’re like $10 a month.

There are several good and less expensive programs on the market; of course, I agree that free and low-cost programs are the most shit. Do you want a good program, will it cost a bit more.
GeoSurf looks good and interesting. The cheapest $29/month pricing is not quite attractive, but thanks to your generous coupon code! Will check it out.
Nice review. I’ve been wanting a good proxy solution for awhile now as the websites I was using just weren’t cutting it. Going to give Geosurf a try and see how it works out.

Thanks Tyler I have been fooling around with proxy’s as well. You couldn’t be more right about you get what you pay for. The free ones are horrible and they are kind of like shots in the dark. You can waste a lot of time looking for just the right service. Thanks for posting this I will see if they are better than the current company i am using. But from the video it looks like it is much better.

The device emulator is a great resource becuase nowadays people use smarthpone and tablet to surf thee web,and it’s can cause various compatibility error with html code of a website

Geosurf sure looks promising Tyler however, shouldn’t the first link ;”premium proxy”; be a one redirected from your domain considering that it will be the one users click the most. 😉
I highly doubt you can use Geosurf to scrape Fb ads.
1. From my experience FB doesn’t serve them based on IP location. Profile (your account) location is the most important factor.
2. FB quickly finds you suspicious logging from different countries all the time.
The best way around would be to create different profiles for all the countries you want to scrape.

Hmm, Interesting article there! Been using Smartproxy for a while, thinking of trying out alternatives, and Geosurf might be the right choice.
Personally I prefer to mix proxies. I found that GeoSurf perfectly fits for Instagram multiple accounts management whereas Smartproxy does no let me down when I need to scrape for certain information. Both services are great especially GeoSurf one thing that is a bit annoying but understandable is the price of course, but hey, there’s no free lunch!
