Whatever it was, last time I checked the UK was firmly placed just of the European mainland… No doubts the Europeans would be quite happy if we had moved our isle closer to Japan, but … there it is. In place. Not moved (much). Firmly in the North Atlantic. No matter wherever its residents would like it to be (probably a little bit warmer, semi-tropical even…)

Also, you might want to consider that they might not appeal to you because you don’t know of the actors in them or understand cultural aspects and the humour in the adverts. They are specifically targeted at a UK audience. I would have thought you would understand targeted marketing.

In my own opinion some of them are better and some worse than the US ads. But I think these adverts will all appeal more to the majority of UK citizens than the US ads. The “Pie Chart” ad is fantastic.
